Patient Advisor Vacancy – 29.5 hours

The Patient Advisors are our frontline team, and are the first face, or voice our patients encounter at the surgery.

We are looking for a candidate who has excellent communication skills, a compassionate and friendly nature, together with the ability to work in a demanding environment and an aptitude for great customer service. 

The right candidate will deliver a high standard of service to all patients, visitors, and colleagues in accessing the appropriate services in a professional, courteous, efficient, and effective way over the telephone and face to face.

Responsibilities:

– Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment

 – Schedule appointments and manage the appointment system efficiently

– Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries in a professional and courteous manner

– Collect patient information and update electronic medical records accurately

– Maintain organisation of the reception area and waiting room

We are currently recruiting for the following work pattern:

Monday

              8.30 – 14.00 (5.5 hours)

Tuesday

Off

Wednesday

            09:15– 18.15 (8 hours) 

Thursday

            08:30 – 17.30 (8 hours) 

Friday

           09:15 – 18:15 (8 hours)

Starting rate £11.60 – Rising to £11.80 after 12 months service.

6 Months’ probation period.
